With the graduation of the Class of 2025 now past, we move FULL STEAM AHEAD to the 2025-26 Sports calendar!

Also attached is our estimated Fall broadcast schedule. All times and dates are per the current calendar on the Sheridan Athletics website. Some of the soccer times, dates, etc., may change as we get closer, but football should be confirmed.

Congrats to Sheridan Senior Caleb Wright, for being named to the IBCA Academic All-State First Team!!

Senior Dayne Voege also drew Honorable Mention.

On the girls side, Mackenzie Smith,Shelby Eaton, and Cecilia Timme were listed as Honorable Mention.

With the Blackhawks losing tonight, it brings our regularly scheduled broadcast calendar to a close. This was our(Nick and I's) 6th year of calling Sheridan High School sports, and it was possibly the most memorable yet!

We watched the football team win their third-straight Sectional title, the boys and girls soccer teams won Conference titles, both basketball teams won their respective Holiday tournaments, the girls basketball team won their second-straight Regional title, and the boys basketball team won the most games in a season since the 2002-03 season.

Our broadcast schedule grew from 42 in 2023-24 to 64 broadcasts in 2024-25. With more broadcasts came more viewers, up from just under 35k in 2023-24 to almost 54k in 2024-25; an increase of 53%!

Viewership Growth over Last Year:
Football - 16.3%
Girls Basketball - 127.9%
Boys Basketball - 61.1%

We saw records broken and history made. The world saw it, too! We had regular viewers from all around the world, and I refuse to believe that it's because you guys love the sounds of our voices. It's because of the great things that these young people are doing on the sporting fields.

To the parents, thank you for sharing your children with us. We aren't able to do this, without the hard work that the kids put in. It continues to be an honor and privilege to bring these sports teams into your living rooms, and we look forward to returning to the booth in the Fall for another great season of Sheridan football!

P.S. We MIGHT do some baseball or softball this Spring, but don't hold us to it! :)
