When Littleton Brewing Company opened on Littleton Boulevard in March, the city toasted a new addition to its beer scene. The brewery has since seen crowds of patrons. Yet, some residents on nearby Foresthill Street say the new business has congested their streets, stripped their parking spaces in front of their houses, left litter in their yards, and made it unsafe for their kids to play outside, among other concerns.

Beginning in February, Arapahoe County residents will see an increase in a surcharge on their phone bill, which will fund the Arapahoe County 9-1-1 Authority. The authority maintains and funds the 9-1-1 emergency phone network for nearly all of the county, excluding the portion within the city of Aurora. According to the authority, the surcharge increase will also impact the residents of the town of Bennet.

For Arapahoe Community College, the ACC Foundation provides scholarships to students, helping them focus on academic pursuits during their time at ACC. Thanksgiving festivities come to a close, Main Street will be alight with holiday cheer as Santa Claus comes to Littleton.

On Nov. 28, the annual Candlelight Walk will return to Main Street. The evening will be filled with free festivities to help Littletonians kick off the holiday season. Festivities start at 5:30 p.m., with the parade beginning at 6:30 p.m. and the evening wrapping up at 7:30 p.m.
