If You’re Looking for Direction, Start with This Trail Map.

Got plans? Remember don’t get ahead of God. Oi ~this is a biggie. Sometimes we can get so excited about a plan, we go in too fast and too big. When the direction is of Him, God will always fund what He favors. Where He leads, He will always provide because provision has a way of showing up wherever obedience rides. In otherwise words, when He calls you to a trail, He’s already made sure there’s enough supply to carry you through.

Obedience builds the fence line around your life. You can’t ask God to cover what you refuse to change before Him. When you’re humble and open, His covering becomes your peace and your protection.

His peace will not come from your perfect circumstances or behavior ~it’ll come from alignment with Him. When you obey what He’s already said, the storm inside starts to settle. Worry loses its saddle when your heart rides in rhythm with His Word.

God usually will not steer a standing still horse, and neither can He of you. You’ve got to move for Him to guide. The moment you take even one small step of obedience, momentum starts to build and favor starts to flow.

Strength grows where surrender runs deep. Disobedience drains the very power that devotion sustains. The more you yield, the stronger you become.

Purpose isn’t found by your standing still either. It unfolds on the trail of obedience ~step by step, decision by decision, habit by habit. You don’t have to see the whole map to follow His lead. Just move in faith, and the road ahead will start to clear.

Obedience draws the presence of God like a fire draws warmth into the cold. He doesn’t just dwell with those who know of Him ~He moves close to those who walk with Him.

Everything you’re praying for is connected to your obedience.

“If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good of the land.” ~Isaiah 1:19

Obedience isn’t about perfection, it’s about positioning. It’s the bridge between hearing and seeing. When you move, Heaven moves with you.

Trial Rations for the Understanding:

Don’t be fooled, delayed obedience isn’t really obedience at all. Peace will fade, progress will stall, and opportunities will pass quietly by. Obedience opens gates that your hustle never could. Disobedience doesn’t just delay. It will drain, and undoubtedly cost you your clarity, favor, and flow.

Obedience brings order, and order invites overflow.

So, slow down. Listen. Every whisper from God carries direction. Believe that He’s leading you right. Take the step you already know to take. Don’t wait for perfect weather ~just ride.

Because everything you’re praying for is waiting somewhere down the trail of obedience.

Be encouraged and let not your heart be troubled.

On chilly mornings, there's no better way to start the day with a cup of hot coffee.

Cowboys were—and still are—a devoted group of coffee drinkers who often drank it with every meal, and drank it stout. The most common way was to buy whole, green coffee beans and roast them in a skillet before grinding them.

The process became much easier when John and Charles Arbuckle packaged ground coffee for the market. Arbuckle's coffee quickly became a staple in chuck wagons and bunkhouses. Thanks to this innovation, making a pot of coffee became no more complicated than pouring grounds into a coffee pot full of water and heating it.

Today on National Coffee Day, raise your mug to John and Charles Arbuckle as you enjoy your brew ☕️
