🚨 WANTED FOR MURDER IN BRAZIL. FOUND IN FLORIDA.

According to the El Centro Sector U.S. Border Patrol, a Brazilian national who entered the United States as a visitor and overstayed was wanted in Brazil on a murder charge.

Border Patrol says El Centro Sector intelligence personnel tracked the man to Florida, where ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) took him into custody.

Officials further reported that he had not been granted asylum or Temporary Protected Status and is expected to be returned to Brazil to face the pending murder charge.

That last part matters: wanted for murder is not the same as convicted of murder. He will face the charge through the appropriate legal process.

Different agencies. Different states. Same objective: locate the subject and put him in custody.

🚨 ICE ARRESTS MAN WITH MULTIPLE CONVICTIONS INVOLVING MINORS

ICE Boston says officers arrested Majabed Hussein Tarek, of Bangladesh, on Aug. 4 following his release from Connecticut Department of Correction custody.

According to ICE Boston, Tarek’s criminal history includes convictions for felony sexual assault, exploitation of a minor, and lewd/lascivious acts with a minor.

These aren’t pending allegations. ICE specifically identifies them as convictions.

Whatever side of the immigration debate you fall on, removing convicted offenders who have committed serious crimes against minors should not be controversial.

Good work to the officers responsible for taking him into federal immigration custody.

🚨 CONVICTED RA**ST GETS ANOTHER 60 YEARS

This is the kind of work that deserves attention.

According to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Arkansas man Mitchell Best was already serving a 30-year prison sentence for r**e when he received two additional 30-year sentences after pleading guilty in a child sexual abuse material case.

ICE says HSI New Orleans special agents and Cabot Police Department officers discovered multiple files of child sexual abuse material during a 2024 search of Best’s home. According to ICE, the evidence included material depicting Best sexually assaulting a young child.

He pleaded guilty. He was sentenced.

Put predators behind bars and keep them there.

Excellent work by the investigators and officers who helped build this case and hold him accountable.

According to ERO San Francisco, Avila-Alvarez has pending drug charges and a prior conviction for the transport/sale of narcotics. ICE further reports that he was turned over to the U.S. Marshals Service pursuant to a criminal warrant.
