The Elizabeth Celtic Festival drew about 5,000 attendees from across the country to celebrate ancient Celtic culture. Beyond music, the family-friendly event featured Highland games, dance, piping and drumming competitions and more.

The Rueter-Hess Reservoir serves primarily as a drinking water source for the Town of Parker and surrounding communities, but it also provides recreational opportunities for the community.

The reservoir is open for recreational use from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fridays to Mondays through October. However, scuba diving, snorkeling, tubing, rafting, sail boating, swimming and ice fishing are prohibited.
