DPS Family and Community Engagement (FACE) is hosting community events where families can receive free supplies, enjoy fun activities and get ready for a strong school year. Please join us on August 9th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Abraham Lincoln High School to start the new school year strong!

CVE had a visit by Denver7 this week! We love the DPS Foundation and couldn't do this work without their support. Thank you for funding STEM-focused educational Legos kits this year for our students!

Únase a nosotros para la FIESTA FAMILIAR DEL SUROESTE el sábado 17 de mayo, de 11 a. m. a 2 p. m. en la escuela secundaria Abraham Lincoln. El evento tendrá animales vivos, pintura de caras, presentaciones de baile, arte con globos, porristas, el tráiler “SciOnTheFly” de CSU, la Biblioteca Móvil de DPS, los autobúses RTD, malabarismo, robóticas, equipos de ejercicios, además de muchos recursos de la comunidad, incluida una clínica de vacunación y camiones de comida.

Join us for the SOUTHWEST FAMILY FIESTA on Saturday, May 17th, 11 am – 2 pm at Abraham Lincoln High School. The event will be filled with activities, including live animals, face painting, dance performances, balloon art, cheerleading, CSU’s “SciOnTheFly” trailer, DPS Bookmobile, an RTD bus, juggling, robotics, drill teams, plus lots of resources from the community including a vaccination clinic and lots of food trucks.

Get ready! The Scholastic Book Fair is next week, May 5th - 9th. Even better news? At the Fair, all items will be buy one, get one FREE! With many books under $5, this is a great chance for students to grow their home libraries before summer break.
