I "failed" to learn to code 3 times before I quit trying.

But today, my first app published on the iOS App Store.

I'm so stoked, I don't care if only 3 people see this.

I just want to share, because this is one of the most exciting moments of my career.

The root of the idea...

Content creation is the best way to start a solo business around your interests, and the Creator Economy is booming right now.

My expertise built over the last 10 years, is building sales funnels for creators with a product, and the organic content to drive traffic to the funnel.

So why did I build a game?

I think it's the best way to teach what I know, and show you the real math behind the process so you know what to expect.

Here's what I've built...

Have you ever played an Idle Miner style game?

It's the only kind of game I'll play on my iPhone.

A common version is a Lemonade Stand.

In the game, your starting conditions let you pick lemons, squeeze them, and sell them, just by tapping buttons.

As you build up sales you can hire your friends, run ads, and build this game business up by the math.

My game is very similar.

You'll start with 100 followers, the ability to draft a post, publish a post, and build your funnel.

When you've built a Product, published posts gather Leads to Retarget and sell your Product.

You can hire a team, make them faster with training, and increase performance metrics through an upgrade path that teaches which skills Social Media Managers ought to develop.

All of this culminates in a casual tapping game you can play while you wait in line, and climb the leaderboard as you learn how to do it for REAL.

It's free, it's an MVP, it's only available on iOS 26.1+...

I'll leave a link in the comments if you want to try it out.
I'm biased, but it's actually pretty fun.

Rubber Ducking is the most genius thing I learned from working with Software engineers. Here's what you do to solve hard problems:

Software engineers place a rubber duck on their desk.

Any time they encounter a hard problem in their code... they turn to the duck.

You just talk to the duck about the problem, from start to finish.

Explain it in this order:

1. What's the goal?
2. What's working?
3. Where does the problem arise?
4. What could be causing that problem?
5. What are some potential solutions?

Here's the magic:

Just explaining the problem from start to end, often allows a novel solution to emerge.

Talking to your duck is like reloading the context in your brain.

Then, you see patterns you were skipping before, and usually get a better answer than when you're still "in it".

Now, I actually do this with ChatGPT instead of a duck.

Chat's responses are sometimes helpful, but what is most helpful is the follow-up questions it'll ask.

Those help a lot with drilling down all the details, and even if Chat can't think in a novel way, it helps me ask the right questions to let the answer emerge from my own brain.

Try it out, with a rubber duck or Chat - report back in the comments with how it works for you!
