We are looking for a recognizable actor, female or male, for our next short film Slurp! Overall budget is only $15k. This will be a SAG production and pay will be $150 - $250 per day. Shoot will be in the Los Angeles area mid-late November.

I have three female and one male parts available. Two leads and two supporting.
The Writer: 3 days. 30-40. The Writer has had some major successes and some utter failures. Since her first novel, she has relied on her muse to direct her. Thinking she can go alone, she ignores her muse and her novel fails to sell. Her muse returns and, feeling that this is her last chance for success, she obeys his every command.
The Blogger: 3 days. 20-30. While the Blogger writes for a crime blog site, she long to write fiction that will be recognized and appreciated. She has sent ideas to many publishers, but has been rejected by all. She is excited to be given the opportunity to write “for real”, but will she succumb to the muse?
Betsy Bitsy: supporting 1 day. 40s. Self proclaimed Super Agent Betsy, is trying to land her next big client. A promising new writer is attracting attention from several agents. Betsy will need something big to win over the new writer. Perhaps the publicity of a court case would do the trick. She sets out a plan to use both the Writer and the Blogger for her own gains.
The Lawyer: supporting 2 days. 30+. With a track record acquittals in tough cases, The Lawyer is one of the best but his services come at a high price.
