This isn’t goodbye… it’s “see you later.”
That’s something my parents always told me whenever I made a big move — leaving for college, starting a new job, or beginning a new chapter in a different city. And now, it’s time for me to say the same to all of my loyal viewers who have supported me over the last three years.
Friday will be my last day at KXII.
It’s incredibly bittersweet because I’ve accepted a new opportunity for both my career and my family. While I’m excited for what’s ahead, it’s hard to leave behind the morning crew who have truly become some of my best friends. After spending countless hours together — talking through commercial breaks, laughing between packages, and navigating life side by side — they’ve become family to me. I love KXII and appreciate my management team understanding my career move!
To my loyal viewers: thank you. Thank you for welcoming me into your homes every morning and afternoon over the last three years. I’ve cherished every conversation, every email, every encouraging word, and every kind phone call.
There have been difficult days — balancing motherhood, marriage, sports schedules, grief after losing my father, and the exhaustion that comes with early mornings. But walking into work, seeing my best friends, receiving a thoughtful message from a viewer, or reading an encouraging email always reminded me how loved and supported I was.
Texoma, thank you for your grace, kindness, and love. I’m so grateful for this chapter and for every one of you who has been part of it.
This isn’t goodbye — just see you later. Stay tuned… an update on my next journey is coming soon!
