So I bought a CNC and went dark...

I have spent a ton of time researching what subwoofer cabinet to build first. The impulse is to simply take someone else's design, replicate it, and move on. But what's the reward in that? I want a design that is truly my own.

I spent hours researching and using the tooling available to me and I realized that this is not a process anyone enjoys. The software sucks, it was built years ago, and while reliable, it is incredibly clunky to work with.

So I built my own. I'm not ready to reveal it all yet, but I'm in the process of proving out the physics on my own build. A subwoofer for our wedding rig, designed from scratch, by software I wrote.

This rabbit hole goes a lot deeper than I expected. I can't wait to share more with you soon.

Big upgrade for Seitz and Sounds! 🚀

I officially pulled the trigger on a CNC machine (the AltMill 4x4). It is a beast to learn, but it is incredibly cool merging my programming roots with my woodworking skills.

This machine is a game-changer for me, I can’t wait to show you what’s in store 🔊🔊
