Shirley Media- Shirley Public Access Television Shirley Media - the best in local, national and international programming for our community. People have a desire to stay in contact with their home community.

Today community television is about much more than cable casting your towns access stations. It's about communicating with the entire community including audiences that don't subscribe to cable, or no longer live locally. This page exists to engage all members of our community, including those away from Shirley; in surrounding communities, Arizona, Florida or wherever they have moved. We try to help them do this.

Cord-cutting has had a profound effect on the revenues available from Comcast for funding cable access organizations like Shirley Media. With the loss in funding, we've been forced into service reductions this year and reductions in personnel hours. In a cost-cutting effort, we have done away with our expensive-to-maintain website. We have a Vimeo site that we regularly post municipal meetings to. This site costs us less annually and has useful features the website did not have - It allows you to pick and download a show if you wish, and it produces a valuable transcript to deaf people, and you can replay any location in the show you want at your choice.
We will be regularly posting the current meetings that we cover here with the link to the Vimeo site. It is a free service available to all.
