Today’s great find in the White Mountains is Sheep’s Crossing! 🏔️🌲

It’s about an hour’s drive from Show Low, and it is absolutely breathtaking. 🤍

And like I said—you do NOT have to hike 14 miles to enjoy this place! The moment you park, you can walk right from your car and be down by the river with your family and kids.

The spot we chose was actually not 1.4 miles like I originally thought—it was only about 0.7 miles round-trip!

And there were SO many more options along the way. You can find a spot that feels more secluded and private where you can spend the day playing in the river with the kids.

If you’re looking for a beautiful, family-friendly adventure in the White Mountains, put Sheep’s Crossing on your list! 🏔️🌲

Lane and I woke up bright and early to get our 6 AM cup of coffee at Club Coffee & Kittle’s! ☕️🤎

And my guys… it was INCREDIBLE ! It tasted so clean and fresh & yummy!!!. my coffee game is about to get so strong! MAN… there was something about this cup of coffee that made me feel classy, cute, and lovely. 😂☕️✨

The atmosphere was amazing, and there were already so many people coming in to grab their early-morning coffee! Seeing this little dream come to life is just so special.

I am SO proud of Darbi. It’s happening, it’s beautiful, and I’m so grateful that I get to be a part of it all. 🤎

Darbi is always wearing the cutest earrings every time I stop by, and now there’s a whole collection so we can snag a pair ourselves! As an art lover, this is basically my dream. 🎨✨

This little Pixar Piper bird has always been one of my kids’ and my favorite animations to watch, so of course I had to paint her! 🥹🎨

I wish I had captured the whole painting process to share with you, but this finished reveal will have to do. I absolutely love how the colors shifted into these warm, golden tones—it gave the whole piece such a cozy, magical feel. 💛✨

Who else loves Piper as much as we do? 🐦

Sheep’s Crossing is such a beautiful that I love to bring my children too! 🌿💚 The lush green grass, the flowing river, and the peaceful scenery make it feel like something out of a storybook.

We visited at the end of July when the wildflowers were in bloom, and we stumbled across the most magical mushrooms! 🍄 They almost didn’t seem real. They were tucked so deeply into the grass that they were easy to miss, and it was hard to capture just how incredible they looked on camera.

I’ll be sharing another video of this location soon so you can really see how peaceful and enchanting Sheep’s Crossing is. But as we continued our walk, we reached the beginning of the Mount Baldy Trail—and I can’t wait to share that adventure with you next! ✨

🐍 Part 2 of the Snake Rock Train series!

This time we’re featuring the Show Low Creek Meadow Trailhead!

Starting from the parking lot, it’s about a 1.79-mile walk all the way to the Hampton Inn. I’ve heard there are plans to eventually make it a loop trail, but for now it’s an out-and-back route.

One of my favorite things about this trail is that you have options! You can stay on the paved sidewalk, continue past the bridge onto the dirt trail, or keep going even farther for a more challenging hike.

This is also the same location that hosts the fun Halloween Scarecrow Walk every year!

We had so much fun adding to the snake rock train, and I encourage you to grab your family, friends, or neighbors, paint a rock, and add your own to this growing community project. It’s such a simple way to make someone smile! ❤️🪨

I’ve been coming to Show Creek Meadow Trail for about four years now, and I think it was within the past two years that they started the rock snake trail! 🐍🎨

My kids have loved looking at all the painted rocks created by random people in our community, so on our last walk, I decided it was finally time for us to paint some rocks of our own!

And of course, where better to do it than Club Coffee & Kittles?! ☕️🎨

Our rocks turned out so cute, but honestly, the best part was spending time together as a family. 🤍

The bouquet and flowers I picked up from Ruby Jewel are absolutely beautiful! 🌸

I’ve recently been painting flowers in my meadow landscapes, and I feel like this bouquet is made up of the exact flowers I’ve been painting! I love the pinks, purples, yellows, and greens. 💐

I was also so happy I got to walk around and look at all the other flowers in her garden. She is so incredibly talented!
