If screen time always ends in a battle, the boundary may need to start before the screen turns off.

Set the expectation ahead of time, give your child a warning before time is up, and stay consistent when the boundary is tested.

When your child says, “Nobody likes me,” our first instinct is usually to say, “That’s not true!”

Instead, start by acknowledging what they’re feeling:

💙 “Tell me what happened.”.

We can’t protect our kids from every rejection, but we can help make sure rejection doesn’t define how they see themselves.

THE WAIT IS OVER! 💜🎉

Puberty and Pajamas is back, and this time, we are gathering LIVE and IN PERSON for the All Girls Purple Puberty and Pajamas Jam!

I am excited to present this special event in partnership with Aetna Better Health of Louisiana and Turner Elementary School. Together, we are creating a fun, safe, and empowering space where girls can ask real questions, receive trusted information, and celebrate becoming exactly who they were created to be.

📅 Saturday, September 19
⏰ 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
📍 Turner Elementary School Gymnasium
👧🏽 All girls ages 8 to 12

We are talking about periods, puberty, confidence, emotions, healthy habits, self love, and girl power!

The girls can look forward to:
