Happy !
Iโll be honest: I wish I hadnโt waited so long to take this leap. ๐ฌ Buying my first home at 35, while working as a realtor, comes with both pride and hindsight. The average age for a first-time homebuyer in the U.S. has climbed to 38, a record highโso Iโm actually younger than the norm by about three years. ๐๏ฟผ
This isnโt just a personal milestone๐ฅณ itโs a snapshot of broader trends. The age of first-time buyers has steadily risen over recent decades, reflecting affordability challenges and shifting life paths. ๐
Despite the financial hurdles (home prices, down payments, mortgage rates), todayโs buyers like me are writing new chaptersโand itโs a reminder that progress often means showing up a little later than planned, but still showing up. ๐ช๐ผ At 35, Iโm not behindโIโm stepping forward, prepared and proud. ๐๐๐พ
Hereโs to everyone out there whoโs taken that step, whether now or sooner. Progress isnโt perfect timingโitโs forward motion. Letโs keep building, one brick at a time. ๐กโจ
The home buying process is much easier than youโd think, letโs chat about it!
