Our work throughout the year finds us designing for the needs of many wonderful artists - both the famous and up and coming. But can we just admit that mixing audio at the NYPL’s Library Lions gala for Bruce Springsteen - both an honoree and got up to do what he does so famously on the stage - ranks up there with the top favs? And - yes - we lit up the library facade and the beautiful Astor Hall for cocktails and the after party as well. All this in collaboration with and a host of talented and committed vendor partners for a wonderful evening together.

Restaurants can be tricky venues to light - they are event spaces certainly but not always readily conducive to curated event design and production. However, where there’s a will there’s a way and - in collaboration with the integrated design vision of - we lit this lovely reception at giving the intricate floral and tablescape all it deserved to shine for the guests enjoying their time together.

Led by owner Lou Mannarino, L&M Sound & Light has created audio designs for the most prestigious musical Artists, concert halls, theaters, museums and event spaces. Our staff of engineers and technicians, supported with years of experience and a large and up to date inventory, result in an highly creative and quality experience for our clients and their special events.

LIGHTING DESIGN

L&M Sound & Light's philosophy is that every event - regardless of size or scope - is designed as a visually cohesive and thoroughly considered piece of creative work. Under the guidance of L & M lighting director Richard Tatum, L&M's designs are thoughtfully and imaginatively created with priority given to the client's unique desires for the visual environment of their special occasion. Our work is supported by decades long experience in the fields of theatrical and special event lighting design and production.
