Bucket Beats is a bucket drumming program for kids ages 9-12. Your child will learn how to drum with just buckets and sticks; music shouldn't be limited to expensive instruments! They will learn the foundations of basic rhythm, musicality, and technique, all while having a blast. Over the course of the hour, children are guided through high-energy songs that help develop their rhythm, musicality, and technique.
These classes will take place in the gym at HARP's Community Building located at 16 College Avenue Stewartstown, PA 17363. Each class is 1 hour long with a maximum of 15 students per class. All classes will take place from 6pm to 7pm on Thursdays with one class on Wednesday the 21st. The first class scheduled to begin on Thursday, January 8th 2026. The price for all four classes is $40 and includes a t-shirt and sticks. Buckets will be provided by the instructor. In the months of November and December, students at St. John the Baptist collected hats, gloves, scarves and baby items for Catholic Charities of Harrisburg. Thank you to everyone who donated to help those stay warm this winter and babies to have much needed items. We were happy to partner with Catholic Charities for these two mission days.

Join us on Monday, December 29th for two dynamic sessions designed to strengthen your foundation, sharpen your artistry, and elevate your confidence:

Elementary/Beginner: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Intermediate/Advanced: 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Mr. Christian will lead dancers through a focused, high-impact class emphasizing:

→ Clear placement

→ Fluid transition work

→ Kinesthetically responsible technique (safe, efficient movement)

Each class includes barre, floor-work & conditioning, and center work.

Fee: $30 per student

Ballet or half-sole shoes required.
No specific dress code — just wear something you can move in comfortably.
