FAMILY SPRING FEST SATURDAY NOON-4PM AT LEN ROBERTS PARK: A range of games and activities are planned for kids, with fun prizes for the winners. These will include a three-legged race, sack race, co****le, musical chairs, rock painting, and a button craft. Our DJ for the event will be W***y Delarosa.

An egg hunt will take place at 2 pm, with a golden egg serving as the grand prize!

The Sons of the American Legion will be bringing a dunk tank, and Mayor McCaa and Chief Hiser have agreed to participate.

Food options will be provided by Dickies BBQ and Dippin Dots.

Additionally, Apache Football and several craft vendors will be present.

Want a behind-the-scenes experience of police work? SVPD’s Citizen Police Academy is now accepting applications! This 12-week program gives adult citizens a better understanding of local law enforcement and offers a variety of hands-on experiences.

Classes will be held on Thursdays, from 6 to 9 p.m. beginning on Aug. 7 and continuing for 12 consecutive weeks. Applications must be submitted by Friday, May 16. Learn more and apply at www.SierraVistaAZ.gov/Citizen-Police-Academy.
