- Koopers Family Straight Rye Whiskey Finished in Cognac Casks; this Limited Release is a 7 year old rye whiskey distilled and aged in new, charred American Oak in Indiana then brought down to Texas to finish for 11 months in French Cognac casks before being blended and bottled in Ledbetter, Tx at the Koopers Family Whiskey room.

2026 Gulf States Whiskey Showdown King of the Coast Crowned.
Congratulations one more time to Dettling Alabama Bourbon - Champagne’s Single Barrel Pick - for winning this year’s Whiskey Madness tournament! Heavy hitters, big names, bourbons and ryes all entered this years bracket from all across Gulf Coast States and this tiny craft distillery from Alabama didn’t even blink and now owns the crown.
