We are saddened to report the passing of veteran character actor Isiah Whitlock Jr. at the age of 71.

A true force on screen, he was unforgettable as the corrupt but charismatic Senator Clay Davis on HBO's "The Wire" and was a frequent collaborator in Spike Lee's films, including "Da 5 Bloods" and "BlacKkKlansman." His presence and talent brought depth to every role he played. He will be deeply missed. Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones.
