Rotations is a Weekly Producer Showcase started by myself, Professor-M (Silver Spring, MarylanD) Held at Joe's Record Paradise in Silver Spring, MD from 7:00PM-10:00PM On Friday Nights since August 2017. I never heard of or seen anything like what I've started anywhere. Any time you hear the Term "Beat Cypher", that term and concept originated here. Anytime You hear anything along the lines of "Pu

ll Up And Pug In" or "Play More Beats" or "Open Aux", those unoriginal talentless clowns you see doing that bit me too. What I Started in 2017 is a beat showcase where anyone with beats can come by, hook into the mixer and play. No matter who you're related to, down with, who your Mans is, none of that matters. Do you have beats or not? That's it. Since then, A LOT Of Unoriginal people around the D.C. Metro Area and Continental United States have tried to duplicate the concept and also tried to take credit for what I set off in MarylanD. So if you have joints, come by and play them around folks who are serious.

If you have Raw beats, or an appreciation for Hip Hop Beatmakers (Not Trap) or if you participate in another way such as DJing, B-Boying or Writing, then come through.

We try to keep what's left of the local Hip Hop culture alive since we were there when it was poppin' over 24 years ago. And if you're still a part of it or want to support it, this is for you.

Come by and hear folks play original joints that make speakers shake and faces look sour by doing it the right way: Chopping up records. It's not just playing beats either, we discuss Hip Hop History and a lot more amongst ourselves. It's FUN!

That's Right, 7 years of an Original Concept that's been bitten inside and outside of the area now. You're welcome for the idea.

Anyway, we'll be playing Raw beats as usual, getting busy and talking about any an everything. So if you're a "real one" come by.

You can also Buy Albums, CD's, DVD's VHS tapes, Cassette Tapes, Zines, Posters, 12"s, 45's, and other various things having to do with physical purchases.

You are also welcome to come through, play your own joints (IF THERE'S ROOM), to Participate and support actual Hip Hop History, (not "Beat Culture"), taking place in your backyard. Or, you can come by, listen and support simply because you Love the sound(s).

****Park in the Public Lot on Cameron Street or have some quarters for the street, the lot attached to Joes is monitored by a Real life Ninja with a Tow Truck***
