Today's prized possession? 🏆

A very soggy, thoroughly sucked on, and suspiciously slimy hacky sack. 🤢😂

Based on the amount of drool involved, I'd say Dottie has been "practicing her footwork" with it for quite some time. She seemed very proud of her treasure... the kids, however, will be significantly less impressed when it is discovered in all of its nastiness.

Some dogs collect sticks. Dottie apparently collects stolen sporting equipment. 🐾

‼️The squirrels have officially declared war. 🐿️⚔️

They destroyed one of our patio chairs to steal the fluff for their nest, and frankly, I take that personally.

Since diplomacy has failed, I've called in reinforcements. Dixie and Dottie have been assigned to perimeter patrol and squirrel surveillance duty. So far, their strategy seems to involve staring intensely, wagging their tails, and occasionally forgetting what they were guarding.

Will the chair survive? Will the squirrels strike again? Stay tuned. 😂🐾

Dottie always has *something* in her mouth. Usually she's proudly parading around the house showing off her latest treasure.

Today? Not so much. 😏

I caught her trying to sneak away with an empty smoothie cup for a little "cleaning service" of her own. The guilty look gave her away immediately! Thankfully, I intercepted the treasure (or garbage, depending on who you ask) before it was transformed into a thousand tiny pieces of confetti.

One point for Mom. Zero points for Team Shred-It. 😂🐾

Nothing beats a sister date! 🐾💛

Metztli and Dottie spent some time running wild through the field while waiting for their annual OFA eye exams. The zoomies were in full force, and thankfully, so was the good news!

Both girls passed their eye clearances, and we couldn't be more thrilled. Healthy eyes, happy hearts, and one more reason to celebrate these beautiful sisters! ✨

And today’s prized possession? A piece of garage garbage. 🗑️😂

Thank you, Dottie, for rescuing this treasure from the trash can and making absolutely sure I got one last chance to admire it before throwing it away... again. Her confidence level is unmatched, and the proud parade she does while carrying her latest find is honestly the best part.

Never a dull moment with this girl! 🐾💕

Maple has officially declared it bubble season! 🫧☀️

Nothing beats a beautiful day spent chasing, popping, and trying to catch bubbles. Watching her pure joy reminds me that sometimes the little things are the best things. 💕
