EC is so pumped to JUMP into our fall show season!! The Greater Gulf State Fair is getting close! See our action packed stunt show there Oct. 28th- Nov. 3rd. Our annual Christmas event is Dec. 13th-15th, and EC is performing the full length show for 3 nights!! Our 90 minute theatrical equestrian show features professional trainers, stunt riders, and instructors performing along-side their riders with adaptive needs in a fun, breathtaking, jaw-dropping adventure.

THAT’S A WRAP ON BLOOD RUST! It feels surreal and so, so good to say that- almost exactly 3 years after our original staged reading. Bringing this journey full circle with the ACTUAL dream-cast and dream-locations photographed for our *original 2016 lookbook* thanks to Celisse's School of the Equestrian Arts & Celisse Barrett's unbelievable talent, grit, and graciousness and the Jackson family's hospitality is a profound gift. Thank you so much to this AL A-team (📸 cred: Jason Barrett), our stellar GA cast & crew- shoutout to Chris Anthony Hamilton & Lauren Bambino who trekked all the way down to the Gulf Coast to be part of both 💖, our 121 (!!!) Seed&Spark supporters, 2016 staged reading audience, and the MANY friends who lent your hands, voices, sweat, expertise, and encouragement to bring to life. We’re still floating on air from Sunday’s shoot, but are ready to hit the ground running with post-production! So stay tuned 😈 This little film that could is just getting started. Brackish Films was founded to address the dearth of quality opportunities for female filmmakers, both in front of and behind the camera. We showcase the breadth of skill creatives in The South, chronically underutilized by the film industry. By building new pipelines and networks of collaborators, we’re committed to dissolving the accessibility barrier between too many talented artists and their careers. Since 2016, we’ve worked to change film culture by creating set environments that are safe and respectful to all. We hold ourselves to a high standard of integrity. We’re committed to conscientious filmmaking that fosters intersectional collaboration. We tell unflinching, empathetic stories that find glory in the mud. Brackish Films spotlights resonant stories from underrepresented voices, challenging audiences with complex truths and celebrating catharsis through vulnerability.
