Update:
Have decided to part out my TR3 project. The reserve is off and will consider all bids. I currently have too many other projects that will require my time and money. This was a complete disassembled car and a bunch of parts from a second car.

One good TR3 title
One fairly fresh engine
One OD transmission
(2) 4 speed transmissions
Wire wheels and hubs
Frame and body were stripped of paint and now have surface rust
Steel hard top
Two hoods (3 and 3A)
One set of TR3 doors
One set if TR3A doors
Large mouth grill
Aftermarket side curtains

Spare gauges, suspension parts etc…

Easy come and easy go. Decided I currently have enough projects, so I listed the Triumph GT6 for sale last weekend. Had a pending offer by Sunday and the new owner picked it up yesterday.

Thing are finally going back together on the Fit. New crank seal, pilot bearing and clutch installed.

Very proud of Austin for doing the majority of the work himself.

What’s happening at Morton’s Garage? Honda Fit leak fixing. Helping my son, Austin, remove the transmission from his 2015 Fit so we can put a new crank seal and input shaft seal in the transmission, and while we’re in there, a new clutch.

Doing a bit of prep work on the Bugeye race car this week — swapping out the diff and fixing a few other things before it officially goes up for sale. Also gave a quick tune to the carbs after installing a different set, since I took the originals for my Mini Cooper.

Making progress on the mechanical restoration of the MG TD. Today we completed the install of the new Stainless steel exhaust system and started the carborator rebuild. Ended up having to make a jet centering tool. Lastly, Jen did a great job repairing the hole in the tonneau cover.

What’s new at Morton’s Garage? Well, we got a new project car in: a 1970 Triumph GT6+ that we will be restoring, continued work on the GM TD, and as usual, cleaning up and selling off collected parts.

Let me know if you have something that you need help with. My shop always welcomes visits from friends and customers. Also let me know about any upcoming shows or cars and coffee… any excuse to take the Mini out.
