The Carnegie Center Author Academy is a 9-month student-driven certificate program that provides writers with the support to grow rapidly in their craft and to prepare their work for publication. The Author Academy is open to adult writers of all genres and experience levels. The study year runs from September 1st, 2017 to June 1st, 2018. Applications should be e-mailed, delivered, or post-marked by May 1, 2017.

This is great news that Lick Fork Missionary Baptist Church received a new van from an anonymous after their previous van had been in an accident.

The pastor says their old church van - which was totaled and still sits at a local junk yard - was the only way a couple dozen kids could get to church.
