The Kingdom of God rarely looks the way we expect—but it’s always exactly what we need. When Jesus teaches us to pray, “Your kingdom come, Your will be done,” He’s not inviting us into fear or control. He’s inviting us into freedom. This isn’t about losing ourselves—it’s about finding peace in a better way to live.

Sometimes we worry that surrender means giving up everything we hoped for. But what if letting go is actually how healing begins? What if surrender makes space for something better?

This Kingdom has a King—but not a harsh or distant one. He’s a loving Father who rules with peace, steadiness, and compassion. He doesn’t demand that you carry tomorrow. He offers grace for today. For this moment. For right where you are.

And in His Kingdom, forgiveness flows freely—both to us and through us. We’re not just invited to be forgiven… we’re invited to live free and help others find that freedom too.

When temptation comes, He doesn’t leave us alone. He strengthens us. Guards us. Walks with us. He is a protector we can trust.

So today, you don’t need all the answers. You don’t need a perfect plan. You just need a willing heart. Let His Kingdom come… and let His love lead the way.

You are God’s temple. His Spirit lives in you—not just for connection, but for transformation. Being His temple means walking in friendship with Him and letting Him shape your life. It affects how you worship, love, serve, and interact with the world. The Church’s mission continues through Spirit-filled people like you. Where is God inviting you to carry His presence today? Let Him make you holy—right where you are.

Ever felt like there’s more to following Jesus than just showing up? You’re not alone. God has given you a spiritual gift—something meant to build up the Church and bless others. These gifts aren’t just for pastors or super spiritual people. They’re for every believer, including you. And they’re not about being in the spotlight—they’re about bringing Heaven to earth. So the question isn’t, “Do I have a gift?” It’s, “Am I using the one God’s already given me?”

God equips His children. When you chose Jesus, the Holy Spirit gave you a gift—more than just a talent. It’s meant to serve others and strengthen the Church. You don’t have to wait until you feel ready. Gifts grow when you use them. Your gift fits your story—it aligns with who you are and how you were made. Whether you lead or serve quietly, your part matters. The Church gets stronger when we each do our part.

Some spiritual gifts can feel unfamiliar—like tongues, prophecy, or healing. Maybe you’ve seen them misused, and it made you hesitate. But uncomfortable doesn’t mean unbiblical. Scripture doesn’t ask if something feels normal; it asks if it’s true. The Holy Spirit may challenge us in unexpected ways, but our job isn’t to control Him—it's to listen carefully and respond. You don’t need to be perfect or impressive, just open and willing.

Learning to hear God’s voice doesn’t happen overnight—it takes time, practice, and grace. Even Samuel didn’t recognize God’s voice at first (1 Sam. 3:7). He was faithful, available, and willing to listen—and that’s what God is looking for.
You don’t have to be perfect. You just have to show up.

Hearing God is like tending a garden. We plant, we wait, and He grows something in us. It’s a lifelong journey, not a one-time achievement.

You’re not behind. You’re learning.

Keep showing up. Keep listening. He’ll meet you there.
• In His Word
• In prayer
• In stillness
• Even in quiet moments in the car

Every moment is an invitation to hear Him.

"God is speaking into the hearts and minds of those who are receptive to Him. Lives are being changed, people are being transformed, and those who were dead are walking into life, into relationship with the God who speaks. He speaks in the world, the church, the people around you, and to you personally. What is He saying to you today?" - Rooted in the Spirit Devotional (Week Four, Day Two)
