Good Morning, We are on the tail end of the storm and now we have to deal with the winds. If you are without power and have NOT called Eversource to report your outage please do so. We had about 200 customers out a the height of the storm and we are down to about 19 at 10am this morning. The numbers will go up as the winds take down more limbs and wires. Public Safety personnel have been monitoring the situation since the storm started and have responded to multiple calls including assisting Canton with a house fire last night. Please be patient as crews work to restore power to everyone. Many other towns were hit harder than we were. Check on relatives and neighbors and we will all get through this.

We know there is a large fire downtown. Please avoid the area. There will be a large fire department presence tonight and tomorrow in the area of the library. Multiple towns are assisting with the fire and many apparatus are operating.
