MISSING CAT

LEECH AVE. & LEWIS BLVD.

Baxter is a missing Brown, Black, Grey, and White Tabby cat!

He is a ESA and his owner is in desperate need of him. He's a very sweet boy and comes to his name. He is chipped, he is NOT an outdoor cat, he is friendly but skittish to those he doesn't know so chasing him isn't a good idea, and finally he was last seen by animal control at Wilson Trailer Company. His owner has released a $200 Reward if found! If you locate him please message OUR page!

Nebraska man dies after rollover crash on I-29 near Sergeant Bluff

SERGEANT BLUFF, Iowa — A Nebraska man has died following a single-vehicle rollover crash on Interstate 29 that caused major traffic delays Saturday afternoon.

According to the Sioux City Police Department, 30-year-old Connor Schlotfeldt of Grand Island was driving northbound on I-29 around 2:30 p.m. when his Chevy Equinox left the roadway. The SUV crossed the grassy median and rolled into the southbound lanes of the interstate, coming to rest near the Sergeant Bluff rest area.

Schlotfeldt was the only occupant of the vehicle. Emergency responders transported him to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police confirmed he later died as a result of those injuries.

As law enforcement and first responders worked at the crash site, southbound traffic on I-29 was rerouted around the scene. At times, traffic was backed up for more than a mile as drivers navigated detours and slowdowns. By 5:10 p.m., the roadway was cleared and traffic flow had returned to normal.

Authorities have not released further details about what may have caused the SUV to leave the roadway. The crash remains under investigation.
