Houseplant Lovers, there is a new shop in South Dakota!
celebrated their grand opening in Huron South Dakota this week. I happened to be in town so took advantage of the moment to show support and capture some photos.
They have a wide variety of house plants, pots and accessories. Super impressive inventory!! This rivals shops elsewhere in the Upper Plains.

Where else would you find a place to hang your hat than at The Albany in Cheyenne Wyoming?
The Albany is an iconic experience. Solid food. I highly recommend stopping at The Albany for supper, a drink and a place to hang your hat.
When you travel, skip Applebee's, skip any national chain. Find the hole-in-the-wall-place and eat what the locals eat.

South Dakota Road Trip?
Yes, please! I grew up riding with my Dad in a semi across South Dakota. He baled hay and hauled it to ranchers and dairy farmers for a living. I can't tell you how many times as a kid, I would see Bear Butte on the horizon headed west on hwy 34. I still love it.
I highly recommend getting off interstate 90 and getting on a winding highway in South Dakota. Stop to take in a sunflower field, hear the Western Meadow Lark sing and smell the sweet fragrance of the heat baking the prairie grass.
Next time you drive across South Dakota, take a highway.
