📣📣Posting every day is not a strategy.

Here’s what a strategy looks like:
☑️ knowing who your ideal client is
☑️knowing what your goals for social media are
☑️knowing your brand and voice
☑️knowing what your business offer is and what problems it solves

Here’s an easy trap to fall into: You think if you don’t post everyday you will become irrelevant to your market client. So you post everyday about things that aren’t really about your business or your customer. And guess what happens? People to scroll past your post, engagement goes down and, worst case, you lose followers. New people see your page and have no clue who your business really is.

But what if you created a strategy and stuck to it? You’ll see better results. Higher engagement, more website clicks… higher conversion rates!

When I first started this business I really didn't have high expectations.

I am a stay-at-home mom to 4,3, & 1 year old. I don't exactly have time flowing freely through my hands. I just thought it would be a creative outlet, help out a friend or two, and if I could break even after a couple months, great.

But guess what did happen? I rediscovered my love for business, my own, and my clients. When clients invite me to work with them, we aren't just discussing a photo to post, we a diving into their business and creating strategies to help get them to their goals. It goes so far beyond creating a graphic and pushing "post".

If you are playing around with the idea of starting your own side business, DO it!

My mantra right now:
"If we meet a year from today with a bottle of champagne, what are we celebrating?"

Here's what I hear daily:

"I don't have enough bandwidth to keep up with the trends and tools that social media requires."
"We don't know how to constantly come up with things to post."
"At the end of the day, I finally sit down and think of something for social media but have no energy to do anything about it."

One thing that helps alleviate the stress of maintaining a consistent social media presence is batching content. This is something I like to stress to clients is that we don't have to make content and post it that same day. Blocking and scheduling time in your schedule to make content (create the idea, take the videos/photos, write the copy, etc.) can all be done in one day and provide you with days or weeks worth of content.
