In May we spent the month in Florida taking care of normal dentist and doctor appointments, spending time at Disney and with friends. We were in the Clearwater area for our niece’s graduation and rounded out the month at Fort Wilderness before we leave to head West.

Misty Mountain Camp Resort in Greenwood, Virginia overview. We stayed here for one night over the winter so it was super quiet and unfortunately so cold we didn’t go to the cabin and tent areas. There were lots of amenities, all that looked to be in great shape.

We spend a good amount of time in the greater Philadelphia area visiting Sophia’s family. We love eating our way through Manayunk, visiting breweries, and shopping at Peddler’s Village. Sometimes we’ll hop across the Delaware for dinner in Lambertville, NJ

Village Scene in Hatfield, PA overview. We stay here often as it’s close to Sophia’s dad and while it is 55+ they do allow for some “underage” transients. It’s mostly utilitarian for us as the only amenity is a bathhouse, but it’s proximity to family and awesome staff has us returning regularly

It's time to replace some life safety devices: The smoke detector, propane leak detector and carbon monoxide detector. In a RV they should be replaced every 5 years. Don’t worry, if you aren’t sure when they were installed, they might loudly remind you at 1am that you need to replace them soon. I picked them up at a camping world store since it was nearby and they had competitive prices.

Candy Hill Campground in Wi******er, VA overview. This campground is about 10 minutes off I-81 and was easily accessible. We had the largest pull-through site and there were loads of amenities. Some were older than others and we were there during winter, but I could see it being a fun family spot in the summer

North Pointe RV Resort in Selma, NC overview. This was the perfect stop off of I-95 for one night, and we didn’t hear interstate noise at our site. Even though it was raining while we were there, we still checked out all the amenities that were well maintained. This will definitely stay on our list for future stops

The weather wasn’t cooperating the night we planned to spend time in St Petersburg, FL, but we had concert tickets so we couldn’t reschedule. We ended up hanging out at Oak & Stone for some drinks before the show and luckily the weather cleared up since it was an outside venue. Of course the rest of our trip the weather was great, haha
