We explored New York City during Christmas. We saw the iconic Rockefeller Christmas tree and Wollman rink in central park, but one of our favorite experiences was the Winter Village, Holiday Market and skating rink at Bryant Park. Seeing all of the light displays at night was incredible. Everywhere you look there is another festive display. There were amazing decorated store fronts and displays along 5th avenue during the day and Saks and Macy’s put on quite the light show after dark. There were so many other markets and holiday fairs across the city that really get you in the Christmas spirit.

We definitely didn’t go hungry during our time in NYC from bagels to pizza and delicious desserts. We enjoyed two of Sophia’s favorites: Milk Bar and Bleecker St Pizza. We also had a great meal at Bubby’s in the West Village, but we were with family and didn’t get any footage that night. What’s your go to spot in New York City?

RV Park in Jersey City, NJ overview. If you want to stay in your RV when you visit New York City, this is the place to be. With views of the Statue of Liberty and the World Trade Center Freedom Tower, you will immediately feel immersed in the city. It’s a short walk to the Grove Street Path Train station where you can be in Manhattan in minutes. If you travel in the summer when the park is full, you will be very close to your neighbors. The RV park is in a nice neighborhood with many great restaurants within a 10 minute walk.

We spent an afternoon exploring Sioux Falls, SD. We obviously stopped by the falls and were impressed at how expansive the park itself and the falls were. There were a few fun murals downtown and the their Super Mario one was huge! We did an entire photoshoot there and had so much fun acting silly and doing our best Nintendo poses

Jellystone Park Sioux Falls, South Dakota overview.
There were a lot of accommodation options from tent sites to cabins to big rig friendly 70 ft pull throughs.
Amenities and activities were abundant and Gaston and Sven loved the dog park. The store had so much branded merchandise and plenty of snack options.

We filled our second photo album of postcards, stickers, and magnets from our travels. This is our favorite way to collect something from everywhere we visit. What’s your go to souvenir when you travel?
