It was another comfortable day in KELOLAND and heading into tonight, we will cool off into the 50s for lows. We are going to start to turn the heat back up tomorrow with highs mainly in the 80s and by Saturday, the 90s will return West River.

While we technically had rain around the Sioux Falls area yesterday, only 8% of the folks on this map had "good" rain, over a half inch. The weather models are starting to see the direct impact of the drier ground in the forecast. Do you see that bubble of 100s around Sioux Falls? That's not good. Even if that's overdone, growing crops and plants will demand much more water intake with strong south winds and hot weather. We'll begin summer on a soggy note in several areas, but we do try to get some dry days here and there along the way. Warmer temperatures do return, but we have to wait until next weekend.
