Mike, a fellow camper who lives here full time, stopped by this morning as we were setting up. He shared his story of triumph over tragedy. 🙏🏼🌀
He weathered Hurricane Milton and the tornado that hit this Florida campground, emerging stronger and more determined. His experience is a testament to the human spirit’s capacity for resilience and recovery. Many lost everything when their RV’s were fully submersed! 😢
He told us that our specific site was fully under water and was repaved after the devastation.

We pulled into our Florida campground at dusk, and were immediately confronted with the most challenging parking spot we've encountered on our journey so far. 😬
Our neighbor, a shining example of kindness, warmly welcomed us and shared the park's story of resilience in the face of the recent hurricanes, including the heart-wrenching image of an RV underwater. These stories stirred our hearts, reflecting on the numerous disasters and conflicts that have ravaged our world in recent months - a poignant reminder of the darkness that surrounds us.
Yet, in the midst of chaos, our hope in Jesus shines brighter, illuminating the path forward.
David and I stepped into this journey with faith, trusting God's calling to encourage everyone we meet to be a blessing, to shine the light of Jesus and remind others that their life matters. Though our journey is not without its hardships (while much of the world is facing worse circumstances than we can fathom), we find strength in God's daily reminders of His presence, propelling us forward with an unwavering sense of purpose and conviction.
Our hearts are with our dear friends in Israel 🇮🇱 and we can’t help but grieve for them every day so THIS IS WHY WE ROLL! 🙏🏼

It’s been an EPIC time in Arizona. We didn’t have time to see everyone we wanted to but nonetheless, it was an amazing time! Now we’re heading your way Texas for a conference so lots of miles are in front of us! 🙏🏼

Oh the joys of getting our campsite all dialed in!!! Especially when we’re going to be at the same site for almost 2 weeks!!! 🙌🏻🛞🍕🥰
First campfire 🔥 and now warming leftover pizza on the Blackstone Products griddle, tops it all off(best re-warmed pizza 🍕 ever btw)!
Looking forward to staying put for longer than 3 nights finally!!! 🙌🏻
Now time to get some relaxation in before work Monday!
