Father Richard Baumberger’s Cardinal Red 1968 Mercury Cougar XR7 is being raffled to benefit Ave Maria Catholic School. Powered by a 390 V-8 and restored by Cliff Avenue Upholstery & Restoration, the Cougar represents far more than horsepower. It also tells the story of a decades-long friendship between a Catholic priest and a Lutheran restoration expert.
