📣📣📣Who’s been the the Steel District in Sioux Falls!? What’s your FAVORITE experience there!? 😋Last night was our FIRST time to Ironwood Steakhouse and it was … a FABULOUS experience! So much so, we were there for 3 hours 😂… just the two of us! I think THAT speaks volumes! Haha I need to call the owner and manager and tell them… 💪. If anyone knows who they are, please tag them here!
Our waitress, Hayley (hope I spelled her name right ;)), was … 💥💥💥! She always has a smile on her face, she was super informative or … everything…. Especially when it came to expectations on the meals and drinks. Example: we were ordering French Onion soup and she let us know it wasn’t like a typical French Onion Soup … it was a cream base! Sooo good to know that upfront. It was very different and delicious! She was super confident and detailed with the entire menu!! One moment I looked over to my left and I saw her behind the bar whipping up what looked to be a martini for someone! She was rockin it! Let’s say a team player! Haha helping in all areas! She’s talented!! We had the filet, salmon, mashed potatoes, and French onion soup … we split it and savored every bite! Legit… delicious. I can’t wait to try new things next time!
ALSO! Who loves a great brunch!!?? We learned they serve brunch on Saturdays and Sundays!! I took a pic of the menu and I’ll share it in the comments here! Brunches make me happy. Why!? Well … from age 13-18 I worked them at a hotel … I would be there before 5am and it would many times go into the evenings if the other restaurant needed me … I LOVED seeing families come in after church … or groups of people taking time to BE together. To BRUNCH 💪 There’s so much beauty in sitting, eating, and having conversations … quality time. Yes I was always working, but I SAW peoples SMILES! I felt their joy!!! It was soul fueling!! (Side note: my HUBBY and his family ALWAYS came in EVERY Easter and Mother’s Day…teeheehee. Maybe I was excited for that moment to SEE him 😂😂😂♥️).
The entire staff was in tune with the individuals in the restaurant. Shawn got up to use the restroom 😉, and before asking, a gentleman (perhaps the manager) looked immediately at Shawn and pointed him where to go. When we were leaving it wasn’t just amazing Hayley that said goodnight, it was everyone we ran into. They all had smiles and went above and beyond. Leaving we had fun checking out the upstairs (super cool) and then we saw these ADORABLE cute little “chairs”… Shawn was like, “maybe they’re for kids…” I was like NO honey 😂😂😂 a child would fall right off that. Teeheehee! We asked and they were to put purses on! I tell you what! Soooo many fun and cool little details everywhere …
Okay… one last thing speaking of details! FLOWERS 💐! WHO loves flowers!!? Haha! I’ve always been obsessed. I was eye balling these flowers that were in front of the chefs, and in the middle of the restaurant and had wines surrounding it … I was like, “I wonder if that big gorgeous floral arrangement is … REAL!?” So as we were leaving we asked and we had to go check it out! OMGOODNESS… the flowers are insane! I asked how often they change them out and they said, “every Tuesday usually!” So then by Friday and Saturday they’re FULL and BEYOND beautiful. My gosh … that made my heart pitter patter! 🙌
Anyway… I know this was long, BUT… wanted Sioux Falls fam to know about all these fun things! Little details that made our experience so impactful’ Goal with Sioux Falls Scoop is just … THIS!
