Fishstock Concert Series has announced that the 4th concert of its 2025 season will feature a Sunday, July 20 performance by Madison’s Caravan Gypsy Swing Ensemble, an acoustic jazz group greatly influenced by legendary Roma Gypsy Jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt. The ensemble’s repertoire is also influenced by American jazz, European folk music, traditional Latin, Parisian waltz and other vintage jazz. Their concerts feature “Hot Swing” tunes, originals, and standards arranged in unique styles, plus a level of guitar proficiency seldom seen today.

Fishstock Concert Series has announced that the 3rd concert of its 2025 season will feature a July 13 performance by Pacific Northwest-based singer/songwriter Brittany Jean. While she largely performs her own songs from her four studio albums, Brittany Jean also usually includes a selection of songs by her favorite artists, including Joni Mitchell, Stevie Nicks, Judy Collins, and Emmylou Harris. With a beautiful voice that has connected with growing legions of fans, Brittany’s fourth album, “All The Love,” was released just this past year.

Fishstock Concert Series has announced that the traditional Environmental Awareness concert of its 2025 season, on July 6th, will feature a performance by singer/songwriter Will Kruger. Kruger’s musical roots go back to the early folk era and his influences are musicians like Peter, Paul & Mary, Simon & Garfunkel, Gordon Lightfoot, John Denver, and James Taylor. The July 6 event will feature a unique version of Kruger’s beloved John Denver tribute concerts.

The Sister Bay Historical Society is hosting its second annual Strawberry Festival on Saturday, June 28th from 11am to 3pm at the Corner of the Past in Sister Bay. Entrance is free.

The family-friendly event features “all things strawberry” and will be offering up old-fashioned strawberry shortcake, strawberry sundaes, strawberry lemonade, and their signature “Sister Bay-sil Berry Spritz” as well as brats and hot dogs with strawberry salsa. The Cherry Tones will provide the musical entertainment.

Since 1965, the Village of Ephraim has been celebrating the arrival of summer by honoring the village’s Scandinavian heritage at the annual Fyr Bal (pronounced “feer ball”) festival, presented by the Ephraim Business Council. On Saturday, June 21, visit the harborside village to welcome sunny days with day long festivities at the 60th year of the event.
