I've had so much fun in the candy business, I've decided to open another shop in Eugene. I thought I was on my way to retirement but got involved with the 5th Street Public Market and decided to get another store established there!
The new store will be called Shout Candy Company. If you know anything about Eugene, you'll get it!! I hope to be up and running no later than Oct. 1.
If you are ever in the Eugene area and want to hang out at the market, stop on in. I will still be at the Sisters location most of the time but the store will be in capable hands with my manager
It won't be as big as the Sisters Location but it will still be a lot of fun and still have all the good stuff!!
I'm not sure which logo I'm settling on but this is an idea of the personality of the store!

Wow! I'm terrible about posting things on my Candy Corral FB page but here I am again! I met these young people from Thailand a couple weeks ago. I thought I'd never see them again but low and behold, they came in today. The best part about it is I found out they'll be here through September. It's all about relationships folks

Bend friends, the person they are here with has a restaurant in the subway parking lot on century drive. It's called Dear Mom Cafe. Go get some fun Thai food and say hi to these amazing young people!!

Truly the best part about owning a candy store! It was fun watching these grandparents with their granddaughter before I took this picture. I always say I love how the parents and grandparents share their experiences with their kids and grandkids and the kids trying to talk their parents and grandparents into the sour or hot stuff. It's truly generational!!

As a small business owner, I need to share something that bothers me a little. I have customers come in and tell me they can get products cheaper from "other big stores". I kindly tell them, sadly the bigger stores can retail their products for less than what I can get mine at wholesale. I honestly don't think they believe me when I tell them this tough!😥

Please know, I'm certainly not trying to gouge people. I work very hard to keep my prices reasonable and don't want to be thought of as dishonest! Sometimes there's just no convincing people otherwise though!🤷🏻‍♂️

Happy 4th anniversary here at Candy Corral. I signed the lease agreement about the same time COVID started. It took me a few months to get displays brought in and the store remodeled from the mess I took over.

Everything seemed to come together (as best as could be during that time) so on the 4th I told my team let's do this. Probably not a better day to start than independence day imo.

That being said, I've made some mistakes but y'all have continued to support Candy Corral till I figured everything out. I absolutely love seeing repeat customers and the WOW factor when new people come in. Y'all truly bless me!!

Let's keep doing this and have fun while we're at it! I'll continue to keep bringing new items in for your entertainment. Thank you all so much for being so amazing!!
