Plan your Alaskan vacation with the help of locals!
Voyij helps you plan your Alaskan vacation with personal recommendations and insight.
Voyij is a cruise and travel website/app that helps you plan your day-to-day activities in Alaska: what to do, what to eat, and where to shop—all from trusted local businesses.
Born and raised in Skagway (read about the day Olivia was born), sister and brother team, Olivia and Gregory Klupar grew up in tourism and hospitality, working in the family businesses: a B&B, restaurant, art gallery, and tour company. Over the years, the two came to see a big gap in how travelers planned their trips and how local owners, like their family, got the word out about their businesses. In 2014, Olivia and Greg, moved back to Alaska to found what is today known as Voyij.
"We grew up here and have a really good sense of Alaska, the activities that make visiting special," says Olivia. "Our goal is to help travelers fall in love with Alaska and to see our home as we do, as locals."
"Even today,” says Olivia, "it can be hard to find and buy from local businesses. Many business owners are owner-operators and don't have time to keep up with the changing tech scene."
