Roadwork will resume September 2nd on the State St Pavement Rehabilitation project.
Starting Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025, lane shifts will resume on State Street from 16th Avenue to Alaska St. while storm drain and sidewalk work is being completed.
Flagging operations and lane closures will occur on State Street near the intersections of 18th, 19th, and 20th Avenue. Expect temporary road closures on side streets from 18th Avenue to the Skagway River Bridge to continue into September. Please follow posted detours or use alternate routes.
Expect delays and stay alert to new traffic patterns during this work. There will be no on-street parking within the work zone. Work in this segment will continue through September.
No work is planned between August 29th and September 1st during the Labor Day holiday weekend.
