ALERT: For this week’s edition, you may see the paper turned sideways like this in stores.

This was done by us to prevent papers falling as they have two large inserts.

Stores you will see this are Bull Stop, United and Allsup’s. We thank you for your understanding. - Melissa, Editor

Head’s up - this week’s edition:

People who get their Slatonite mailed to them will receive their paper Friday due to Juneteenth observance. It is now a federal holiday so any federal business will be closed.

Also, workers are in the building working on the walls. We are open, however, our door will be closed and we are using lamps to keep electric usage down. If the sign is up on the door, we are not in.

Office notice, aka “Pardon out dust”:

There is some work being done inside the JM Martin Plaza over the next few days.

We are also using lamps at The Slatonite during hotter days in our office to help reduce the taxing of the grids to prevent brownouts in the heat.

WE ARE OPEN if the open sign is on and there’s no sign on the door stating we’re out of office.

Thank you for your help and understanding. - Melissa, Editor
