The Senior Center’s country breakfast fundraiser is on until 11 today (May 16). Sausage biscuits and gravy, eggs and hash browns for $5 a plate.

Office alert: You may notice that the Slatonite’s lights are off during the day with an open sign.

We are keeping our lights off right now as a way to save energy during these warmer temperatures to prevent brownouts and rolling blackouts.

Occasionally, we also have a lights off to help assist on layout and ad design.

If we are out of the office, we will have a sign up saying that we’re out. Thank you for your understanding and support of the paper – Melissa, editor.

Reminder - deadline to ***guarantee*** your Senior ad is in the Graduation Tab is Monday at 5 p.m. We can take them after; however due to an earlier press time for the section, we cannot guarantee it’ll run in the section after Monday. This ad offer is for Slaton, Roosevelt, Wilson and Southland students and families. We also accept college graduates with family here any school.
