This is Michael Buras, I am co-owner and the primary investigator at Buras Accident Reconstruction, LLC. We are an accident reconstruction company that deals in various types of accident reconstructions. Let me give you a little background information about myself. I received my certifications from Northwestern University at the Louisiana State Police Academy in 2005. This certified me to handle a

utomobile, 18-wheeler, motorcycle, and boat reconstructions. I have been in the accident reconstruction business for 25+ years. Investigating over 5,000 crash scenes, 3,000 crash scenes with minor to serious injuries, and handled over 500 fatality crashes where reconstruction was needed. I served on the New Orleans Police Department and The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office as a traffic and fatality investigator. As an accident reconstructionist, we acquire clients from attorneys, insurance companies, and businesses where a company or personal vehicle was involved in a crash where there are no resolving faults. We will meet with prospective clients and obtain all pertinent information regarding the case, whether its pictures, police reports, depositions, etc., in order to build a case for our client. If a contractual agreement is reached between our company and the client, we will start our investigation using the latest in reconstruction software as well as on scene reconstruction, vehicle dynamics, crush measurements, etc., to complete a thorough and precise conclusion of the crash.
