Hope everyone has been well and staying dry in the "off-season". Tropical time is back, but its not quite here yet. Prepare yourself that you may see some scary post over the next 48-96 hours about tropical storms or depressions in the Gulf sometime later next week. Right now, NONE of the major models (GFS, Canadian, or my fave, the EURO) are showing anything more then some bad thunderstorms. 1 model - ICON - hinted at a tropical low passing south of Louisiana into Beaumont area and people are losing it already. We will be with yall again this season with "no Fluff" forecasting and never taking ourselves too seriously either. But always be prepared during these summer storms, that at any point, we can see flash flooding, power outages for extended times, and (the horror) - No Internet at home! Here's to a calm (never use the Q word) hurricane season and to more snow in 6 months!! ---- Conrad

FROST FRIDAY? The fronts keep coming and nobody better complain! We’re probably down to the single digits for fronts we have left before summer. A chilly blast arrives late Wednesday setting up a windy and much cooler Thursday/Friday. Frost possible by Friday AM!

Just in case anyone wants to follow along with this weather and the tornados, check out Ryan Hall on youtube. I try and keep him running on 1 of my monitors when its gets this bad. Mississippi is still getting new tornados dropping on them.
