Johnston Now is a locally-owned advertising agency and magazine publication that focuses on positive and uplifting stories directly from the community in which we live, eat and shop. Approximately ten thousand (10,000) magazines are published monthly and are distributed to over 180 locations across Johnston County. JNOW Digital offers an array of services such as website creation, social media man

agement, targeted display ads and other digital advertising services. JNOW Digital's goal is to serve businesses nationwide by helping them to reach their customers right where they are; on their phones, computers and tablets, and to help educate the community on the power of digital marketing.

Meet Shanna Capps, General Manager of JNOW Media, which is celebrating 10 years of storytelling, community connection, and local impact. Under her leadership, JNOW Media has grown to include Johnston Now Magazine, JoCo Sports, Johnston Now Honors, and Dine JoCo—all while being recognized as a Certified Google Partner, one of only 4,000 nationwide.

With more than 25 years of digital marketing experience (dating back to the dial-up days!), Shanna is passionate about helping businesses thrive. She shares her expertise by teaching classes at Johnston Community College and Brunswick Community College, while also serving on the board of Rainbow Bridge Hospice Rescue.

Shanna and her husband, Randy, have built, bought, and sold businesses together, giving her a unique perspective on entrepreneurship. Today, they enjoy life in Four Oaks with their rescue pups Lyla and Van Gogh 🐾, while their son Ethan continues the family legacy as part of the JNOW team.
