Greetings from Penn State Mont Alto! We would like to invite you and your students to attend the 3rd annual on-campus Forestry Career Connections event on Wednesday, November 20, 10 a.m.-noon. This free event is a great opportunity for high school students to learn more about careers in forestry-related fields and educational requirements to work in this industry!
Attending employers have knowledge and expertise in residential and commercial tree services, consulting, utility forestry, forestry preservation and management, urban forestry, timber harvesting, lumber, and paper manufacturing. In addition, representatives from Penn State’s College of Agriculture and the Forest Technology program will be available to answer questions about educational paths and provide information on how to apply.
