D-Grooves A/V Studio used to be called “D-Grooves Recording Studio” when it first began in 2004. Primarily a personal studio for me, Pianist and DJ- Doug Gazlay, in Smyrna, GA, (a Metro-Atlanta, GA suburb).
My studio has been mainly for Singer/Songwriter types. No bands or any large group like that. There is a nice sound proof room to record vocals. Mainly, I have produced demo tracks for students participating in the AMTC competitions. Editing of client’s songs for their receptions (i.e. First Dance, Father/Bride, Mother/Groom, etc.) All my personal recordings (which are available on iTunes, Amazon and more) were recorded here at D-Grooves.
With the at home recording revolution that has taken place over the years (i.e. Apple Garage Band and more), I have made the decision to expand or change the direction of the studio. D-Grooves Recording Studio is now called D-Grooves A/V Studio. A/V standing for Audio/Visual, of course.
What does this mean? It’s not a full service A/V studio. It is specifically geared to production of what I call “Short Promo Videos”. Small videos that blast out a product, service or message to people on the web. Examples of this are coming soon. This is just the introduction of what’s to come.
