Today, we celebrate the life and legacy of Kevin Lacik! 🎉 Born on December 6, 1978, in Big Spring, Kevin was the beloved son of John and Cynthia Lacik of Snyder. He spent his formative years growing up in a loving family and went on to pursue his academic dreams at Western Texas College. During his time at the college, Kevin made a lasting impact on his peers and professors alike, leaving behind a trail of fond memories. After his passing, his parents, John and Cynthia, established the Kevin Lacik Memorial Scholarship in his honor, a testament to their love and admiration for their son. 🎓 This scholarship has since provided opportunities for countless students to pursue their educational goals, ensuring that Kevin's spirit of learning and growth continues to inspire future generations. On this special day, we take a moment to remember Kevin's bright smile, his infectious laughter, and his unwavering enthusiasm for life. Today, we're thrilled to celebrate the anniversary of W.H. and Celia Jones, two lifelong residents of Fluvanna, who tied the knot on this very day in 1920. Their love story is truly one for the ages, and their legacy continues to inspire us to this day. In 1987, their family established an endowed scholarship in their name, a testament to their commitment to education and the community. Mr. Jones was a true pillar of the community, not only farming and ranching in Fluvanna but also running the Fluvanna Mercantile until 1957. His dedication to Western Texas College was unwavering, and he was an active member of the WTC Booster Club. We're honored to recognize the impact they've had on our community and look forward to continuing their legacy for generations to come! 💕
