Took a little trip to the DFW area for a class the other week, and while it was busy, I couldn't resist trying to get some pictures around the area while I was there. Not too bad of a trip, but I was glad to get home too. SMP Jr got a new friend on the trip, who was quite a good photographers assistant too.

Getting off an overtime shift and stuck because of a wreck up the road? Guess I'll take some pictures. Manatee County Public Safety Department EMS Alpha 11 and Beach Patrol Squad 4, along with their rescue boat and Manatee County Sheriff's Office's Marine Unit's boats. One of my favorite stations for sightseeing.

Caught Manatee County Public Safety Department EMS Alpha 1 giving a patient to TGH Aeromed 1, who looks to be in a spare today. Even in more urban and suburban areas, sometimes helicopters are needed to get patients to specialty centers much quicker than Tampa Bay Area traffic allows.

Took a little trip for the next class for one of my certificate programs I’m working on for my day job. Also did some sightseeing. These photos aren’t quite the level I usually have, but to me that’s special. My mother gave me my dad’s old camera once he passed away. And that’s what I used this trip. Easier to carry but I have to work that much harder. It’s made me want to take more photos. I miss him, but this makes me think of him every time I take photos.

And that wraps another class in New Mexico for my day job. Decided to bring out the camera to do some long exposures, since the skies were clear this time. Also bringing home a friend for SMP Jr. Lol. Can’t wait to be home and back to real life though

So since I’m doing a class back home for my day job, I figured I’d send the drone up at sunset and get some shots of one of my favorite buildings in the state of NM. The old San Miguel Mission, in Socorro, NM. I’ll edit some more later this coming week once I’m home.
