The drought is over. The Soda Springs Cardinals take down Firth on the road for their first football win since October 21 2022. The 13-8 victory is the first win in 19 tries. The Cardinals are flying high tonight.

To make sure it doesn’t get lost in the shuffle, in the District #149 School board race, the candidates for Zone 3 are Brandi Wakley and Philip James Knox, whom I misnamed as James Philip in the print edition. A correction will be in next week’s paper, along with the similarly transposed Tyler Butikofer and Kimi Lowe in Grace.

A very inspiring night in Soda at the 9/11 candlelight service. Alana Burns, Naconna Gentry, and Amanda Larsen deserve credit for great follow through and a great idea.

Correction—the council members in Grace are Kimi Lowe and Tyler Butikofer. In the district #149 schoolboard election, the candidates are Brandi Wakley and Philip James Knox, not James Philip. That was my mistake, as I accidentally used Tyler’s and Philip’s middle name and the wrong form for Kimi. I apologize, and I’ll run an official correction next week.
