24 years is a long time and while many things have changed, not so many have been for the better as we’ve seen. Let’s us honor the victims, heroes and families that have struggled to put the pieces back together following that tragic day. We also can’t forget the hundreds of dogs that were on site at ground zero searching for survivors in the days following. It’s the moments following a tragedy or disaster that restores our faith in humanity, at least temporarily… God Bless the 🇺🇸 ❤️ 🙏

Attention ALL Fans of “Breakfast with the Beatles,” Saturday mornings at 6. The show, which has been an institution here at WOLD, essentially since our launch, is winding down. Unfortunately Dennis has chosen to end radio syndication at the end of the month to dedicate time to other projects, meaning it will no longer be offered to affiliates (like us) around the country and world. It has been a privilege to air such a well produced broadcast, anchoring our Saturday mornings, with “Fab 4 Favs” and so much more! We wish Dennis well in his future endeavors and thank him for the opportunity to be a part of his syndication family. The final broadcast will be Saturday, August 30th.

Bobby Sherman, one of the top teen idols of late 1960s and early ’70s, has died after a battle with kidney cancer. He was 81.

In keeping with our annual tradition, it’s our “LOTS of Love” Valentine’s Day as we kick off every hour with Back2Back Love Songs to fit the occasion. We’ve also heard a rumor that a special edition of The Midday Cafe and 5 ‘o’ clock Fastlane are also planned. Who has more fun than we do? No one!
