Switched my 12 year old over to non stimulants about a week ago, so far so good! Atomoxetine seems to work pretty well for him with less side effects. Switched my 9 yr old over to a different type of stimulant with a lot lower dose and he is doing very well also. . . Less side effects, more playful but still able to maintain his focus, appetites are much better also. Fingers crossed we're on the right track! Also want to add we started giving low dose of magnesium in mornings and at night. Magnesium is a game changer!
