One thing I've realized over the years of working on different issues like climate change and with different groups like science expeditions and medical teams is that I've unintentionally created series of films that connect very closely to one another. So rather than each film being its own page, I'm working on building pages that are bigger stories, combining several films with galleries of photos and text, creating hopefully little experiences.

I got to spend a few days up on a bamboo platform suspended 150’ above the forest floor with this cool chick, and just wrapped up the first draft of the documentary about her and the people of the Embera tribe who protect her. We are working with award-winning filmmaker Daniel Byers of Skyship Films to produce a breathtaking film featuring one of our longest running and most successful projects in Madagascar. This project was our first community conservation project and it is influencing our approach moving forward as we expand our work in Panama helping the Emberra and Wounaan communities save the Darien Rainforest and Harpy Eagles. Daniel just returned from trips to Madagascar and the Darien with a team of three filmmakers and one professional tree climber to capture incredible footage.
